About Me

  • My name is Hilda Carroll and I am a life coach who passionately believes in the ability for all of us to be happy right now, even if right now life is kinda rough! My mission is to help people realise that happiness is an inner state, completely non-reliant on external circumstances, and to help them learn to live joyfully in the present moment (because now is all we really have).

I absolutely love that last one. It tells me that even experiences (or mainly experiences) make up how rich how I am. I feel that at my core. I don't tend to hold onto a lot of stuff in the physical sense, and if you saw where I lived, you'd laugh. It's pretty sparse. Yet my life now feels more abundant than it's ever felt.

I hope you have a super week, Hilda!

Lance

Hi Hilda,
That first quote really rings so true for me. I'm believing this more and more each day - at just how important the little things really are in life. And that they often are what matter the most. So good to read these today...

Hilda

Thanks Megan, I'm having a crazy week, but a great one too : ) (My move to the west is definitely on - hooray!)

I'm with you on the letting go of physical stuff. Though I wouldn't use the term "sparse" to describe my home yet, I'm definitely loosing more and more needless clutter as time goes by.

Hi Lance,

The first and the last are my faves. A few months back I choose "The best things in life aren't things" as my theme. I absolutely feel in every fibre of my being that the best things in life are the little things, as you said. In fact, there really is nothing little about them at all : )

Lance

Hilda! The move west is on!! Woohoo!! I'm really happy for you!

Carla

This is a great reminder for me. I am learning more and more the value of savoring the small things, moments, and time in my life.

Hilda

Me too Carla, and it's a wonderful blessing! Thanks for your comment : )
