About Me

  • My name is Hilda Carroll and I am a life coach who passionately believes in the ability for all of us to be happy right now, even if right now life is kinda rough! My mission is to help people realise that happiness is an inner state, completely non-reliant on external circumstances, and to help them learn to live joyfully in the present moment (because now is all we really have).

Hi Hilda,
There's so much comfort and reassurance in that last quote by George Eliot. "It's never too late..." --> great words to always keep in mind, no matter what our age is. Hilda, I find this to be so true as I go through what feels like a re-make of my life journey - that's it's not too late is so, so good to read! Happy Monday!

Hilda

Happy Monday Lance : )

Yep, never too late. Each day can be a new beginning if we so choose : )

Positively Present

Love this one: "It is never too late to be what you might have been." ~ George Eliot

It's not too late for me to become a well-known, influential author! Yay! There's hope! :)

Oh I love the surrender quote. It ties in with where I'm at in life right now. My mind is strong; stubbornly so, and it thinks it can get me to where I'm supposed to be. My heart knows better, though.

I like the first quote, too. There's another similar one that adds the word "insanity" to the mix. Reminds me of a lesson I learned a year ago along those lines. I'm such a creature of habit, and yet I say I want change in certain areas. Am I willing to abandon outdated ways of thinking & behaving though? If not and I still expect change, I'm insane. (smile)

Hi Dani,

no it's never too late ;-) And as for your writing goal, it's only a matter of time and you have buckets of that!

Hi Megan,

I know that quote, I think it's Albert Einstein: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result - or something along those lines ;-)

Surrender is a lesson I'm learning these days too, and it's not always easy but when I do it, it only serves me well :-)

Sweet quote. We should definitely be more than what we are by doing something different. Its a pleasure to read your blog post.
