(a Thought for the Week)
"Learn to let your intuition-gut instinct-tell you when the food, the relationship, the job isn't good for you (and conversely, when what you're doing is just right)." ~ Oprah Winfrey
"Your soul - that inner quiet space - is yours to consult. It will always guide you in the right direction." ~ Wayne Dyer
"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why." ~ Albert Einstein
"Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way." ~ Florence Scovel Shinn
Hilda,
Thanks for the quotes on intuition. It's taken me almost 56 years to fully appreciate my intuition. It's not that I didn't listen, but it always seemed so irrational...yet, it never took me where I wasn't supposed to go. When I read back over my old journals, I realize my intuitive voice was VERY strong and a wonderful guide...for a child/woman who needed a guide.
Now, I honor this part of me and realize what a great compass it actually is :~)

Hi Sara,
I know what you mean. I've often doubted my intuitive nudges, usually because I didn't want to listen! I wanted things to be other than what my intuition was suggesting. But more and more I'm paying it the attention I know it deserves. When I honour my intuition it never lets me down.
You hit the nail on the head when you refer to intuition as a compass. As Florence Scovel Shinn said, it points the way ;-)
